About Us:

RiverGuide LLC, part of the 24G Agency based outside of Detroit, is seeking an experienced and energetic Accounts Specialist who is self-motivated and has a passion for business strategy, marketing, data analysis, and advertising. This role will expose you to Amazon’s, Walmart’s, and Target's E-commerce platforms. As e-commerce platforms continuously enhance their advertising platform, you will learn the levers that drive Amazon, Walmart, and Target sales growth and help to position top brands for success. 


Position Overview:

As an Account Specialist, you will be an integral part of RiverGuide’s Amazon team, assisting with day-to-day management, optimization, and reporting of client Amazon accounts. You will be responsible for helping Account Managers implement brand, product and advertising strategies, using SEO tactics and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising to grow market share. You will work directly with AMs to analyze business, inventory, and advertising data, as well as help to create decks and data visualizations to share with clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for e-commerce, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data to inform decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Assist in day-to-day management of Amazon accounts, including monitoring performance, responding to customer inquiries, and optimizing product listings.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like sales volume, conversion rates, advertising metrics, and inventory levels. Provide actionable insights and regular performance reports to clients.
  • Advertising: Support the execution and optimization of Advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and other advertising formats.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Assist with monitoring inventory levels to ensure timely replenishments and avoid stock-outs. Communicate with teams to track inventory movement.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on account performance, highlighting trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor listings and strategies, adjusting tactics based on industry trends and Amazon algorithm changes.
  • Product Listings: Ensure that product listings are optimized for search visibility, keyword relevance, and conversion rate, using Amazon Seller Central and other tools.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Manager and internal cross-functional teams to implement strategies and improve client outcomes on Amazon.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in Amazon account management or e-commerce 
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central, including its features, tools, and reporting functions.
  • Familiarity with Amazon advertising such as Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and DSP is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.


Nice to Haves:

  • Walmart and Criteo/Citrus Advertising. 
  • Experience with Amazon FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon).
  • Understanding of Amazon’s A9 algorithm and how to optimize for it.
  • Knowledge of SEO and keyword research for e-commerce.
  • Experience with third-party Amazon management tools.
